Phillippa contacted us to tell us about her wedding she would be having in New Zealand. We knew we had to make her a dress, which would travel well.
Phillippa decided for a pure white 1 shoulder strap dress. It has an internal lace up and covered buttons at the centre back, it looks quite light, but its actually got a fairly "firm" shell to the dress, where we could fix all the folds on to. We had a challenge, as the top layer of fabric is quite fine, and we kept dealing with the issue of transparency. On top of that.. working the fine folds with the grain of the fabric, going in all different directions was a real challenge for us. We really are happy with the final result, and we are hoping to get to do it all again soon... now we know so much more... I think we will be doing lots of similar styles to this in the spring with "woven" detail.
Phillippa achieved a real contemporary feel to her wedding. I love the black and the grey colours for the men, against her dress.

She decided for a soft satin dress, with minimum boning and internal lace up, it had a very fine Chantilly lace overlay. The dress had satin covered buttons and loops and a keyhole neckline at the back. The colour is called Porcelain and is just one shade lighter than Ivory.
The look of the whole wedding is soft and romantic and really matched the setting perfectly.
Andy Allan kindly supplied the photographs of the wedding, Andy has taken lots of different types of photographs as you can see on his website, but he has recently stated doing weddings, and i think he captured this wedding very well and in a really relaxed manner.








More Info...]]> Wed, 2 Nov 2011 03:23:00 GMT <![CDATA[Freja Blog - Gorgeous Butter-fly girl with matching doll]]> The dress was made in duchess satin, and then we had lots and lots of netting of different weights on top of the satin. on the top layer of netting we fixed little butterflies, made in silk organza, some of them had hand beading of swarovsky crystals on the "body" of the butterflies.
The velvet ribbon on the waist had a fixed bow at the back. in this way she could swirl and swirl without the bow coming undone.
Karen's niece just couldn't stand still while we fitted her dress, she was the cutest thing. There was an extra surprise for her... a little dress for her doll was made as a mini me of the dress.
I feel a bit sorry for Karen, it was her wedding but i think her gorgeous butterfly girl stole a bit of her attention.

The flowers were really lovely and supplied by Planet Flowers.
Kirsten's dress, had a sweet heart neckline, an internal lace up corset and buttons and loops at the back. The netting in the back of the dress was attached to a bustle, which could come up and the dress could then loop up for the dancing.
The whole feel of the wedding was that of a romantic summer party. Very pleased with the result, and it was lovely working with you, we wish Kirsten and Jamie all the best for their new life in South Africa.

Usually we have an initial meeting with the bride, and if the bridesmaids can come that is great, i try to take ideas from everyone involved on board, as it is important everyone feels happy with the result.
I create several designs and fabric combinations, and it then gets approved before we start making the dresses.
We have so much choice, in fabrics and colours and style, that you can have exactly what you like.
We often have groups of bridesmaids with specific requirements, such as pregnent bridesmaids, younger teenagers to match the adult bridesmaids, but with a style which is appropriate for their age, and also flowergirls.. We also sometimes make a dress for doll or teddy to match for the younger ones. Often we make the bridesmaids dresses in very short time, if the bridesmaids lives abroad, and only arrive days before the wedding.
Here are a couple of examples from this season.

Her bolero was made in matching lace.
We were so pleased with the final result, and excited when it was Cate Gillon, at Weddings By Cate who was doing the photography, as i have met her a few times, and never actually done a wedding with her, so that i was so pleased about.
Susie told me how the day was made so special by the Ceremony at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Murrayfield Avenue, (Episcopal Church ) with the Reverend Dean Fostekew and the reception at The Caledonian Hotel where the staff surpassed expectations at the Wedding Breakfast.

















More Info...]]> Mon, 28 Nov 2011 06:23:00 GMT <![CDATA[Freja Blog - Lots and Lots of folds in purple and a little bit of green]]> We used Pure Douppion silk from James Hare Silks, which is a company we buy lots and lots of silk from, we are proud to say they conscientiously source their materials in Asia. The colour is really unusual as it is purple shot with green. We had lots and lots of purple netting and some very lightweight bremsilk lining...in... purple.

The dress was constructed with a "plain'ish" skirt, with a big netting underskirt with a hoop, then we had Edwardian drapes over the skirt, which created a large train which could bustle up for evening reception. Then there was a bodice on top of the bustle, which was very structured with lots of heavy interfacing and lots and lots of boning, the back was loops which laced up, and had a modesty panel behind. The bandeau was created with ruched bias cut douppion silk. Despite all the seperate pieces it still was a one piece dress.

Robyn had very early booked her venue Royal Terrace Hotel, and planned so much detail about her wedding, how she would have her hair, and how her bridesmaids dresses were, flowers and lots of other thing. The amazing collar necklace was a gift from her bridesmaid, and i think it went very well, with the whole look. Everything turned out fab, colourful and dramatic, just like she wanted it. The gorgeous flowers were from Garlands in Leith the bridesmaids dresses were from Vivien of Holloway

Francois Lesage ran the very famous embroidery house in Paris, which has provided embroidery for decades for the most exclusive Couture houses such as  Dior, Givenchy, Balenciaga and Christian Lacroix.
Lesage ran his workshop till his death and had nearly 50 embrioderers working there. Jobs could require up to  500 hours of work,  like the famous Jean Paul Gaultier's evening dress from 1998 collection, Leopard Evening dress in taffeta and embroidery required close to 500 hours in embroidery alone. Amazing and stunning work.



Lesage was in 2002 bought by Chanel, so it will carry on in the future, as long as the couture houses still require the exquisit and specialised work for their collections.

This dress i saw at Victoria & Albert Museum London  It was part of the exhibition about the New Look. Lesage did this emboidery for Lanvin in 1957. it was truly stunning, the detail in the embroidery was breath taking.

More Info...]]> Wed, 4 Jan 2012 13:45:00 GMT <![CDATA[Freja Blog - Soft Lace, Silk Crepe and the stunning Signet Library]]> When Rebecca came to see me she had allready been round a few wedding dress shops, and thougth what she wanted wasn't exactly there for her to buy.
We talked about her wedding and it was supposed to be a small affair at the Signet Library with stunning food from Heritage Portfolio. The shape she would like to replicate from an evening dress, she had worn a before, and she loved the shape of, was the shape we created on her. The dress she liked was a soft dress without boning and structure. Rebecca couldn't get the dress simple enough. But once her daughters got involved in the process, they persuaded her to go for lace.

Rebecca chose a very fine chantilly with a floral motif. I think Rebecca looks stunning in her dress. She had her hair done by my friend Lesley at Hershaws in Rodney Street. Another friend Mikee did her makeup. Spiral Flowers had made her lovely bouket, Renee Walrus her head dress.
Rod Irvine took the photographs utilising the stuning pillars outside the Signet Library.
Rebeccas gorgeous daughters wears bridesmaids dresses from John Lewis which we altered for her gorgeous girls.

This is the same church as Laura's grandparents, parents and sister got married in. They had the church full of friends and family and music. One of Laura and Andy's friends had composed music especially for them to walk in to and it was played by a band made up of friends. They then took to the beach, got the photographs taken (wow it looks like abroad) and then to the Apex on the Grassmarket for the reception and lovely views.
The stunning pictures are taken by Idil Sukan of Draw HQ. Thank you so so much for letting us use them to share. Idil is one of Andy and Laura's friends from Edinburgh University. Her photography is usually promotional work for the entertainment industry but she also shoots events and weddings. Andy is an actor and comedian and he and his friends often use Idil's amazing photos to promote their work. He's one of the team that make up Showstopper! The Improvised Musical which will be on at the Gilded Balloon during the Edinburgh Fringe this year.

Laura, her mum and her bridesmaids helped with the flowers on the day. And they look amazing.

I think it would have been very special for Andy and Laura's guests to come from London and get such a true Edinburgh experience to be by the seaside and then in minutes in the stunning old town in a modern building with a view to The Edinburgh Castle.


Laura's dress was a ruched chiffon dress with buttons down the back and guipore lace cap sleeves.


We also made the bridesmaids dress for Laura's sister, she wore a teal chiffon dress with sleeves.

Laura was an absolute joy to work with and discuss Architecture and dressing idea requirements with. I hope I get to catch up at the festival.

Laura says: "Thank you so much for all the work you and your team put into both of our dresses. We absolutely loved them and it was so nice to have dresses which suited our body shapes so well. I had so many compliments about the dresses on the day and since the wedding and have been recommending you any friends who've got engaged recently! "

We felt so fortunate to be allowed to go and photograph in such an amazing location.  We had a stunning model called Bambi, who had been to my shop a couple of times before the photoshoot to try on and let us adjust the dresses we had made her.

Rosie Fraser Make-up and Princess Cut Bridal Hair by Charlene Wilson had both been to see her and the dresses, and we had been in regular contact, sending ideas back and forth to decide on the different looks for Bambi to carry off with each of the 3 dresses. We were very keen to get a different look for each dress.

On top of that, Planet Flowers had kindly offered to supply us with suitable wedding flowers, and  Rene Walrus had lent us the accessories.

On top of that we had an endless to-do - list such as lunch, directions, snacks and shoes etc. to bring. Each one of us had a whole lot of stuff to do with our profession.... so I think when the lovely staff at Drumlanrig saw us arriving with all our equipment, they wondered if the castle was in fact big enough!

Charlene and Rosie went straight to hair and make-up... I was busy getting all of the dresses laid out with the correct bracelet, hair piece, flowers, shoes etc...  Ditte and her assistant were out searching for the best places to actually take the shots. The castle had already specified the exact places they would like us to take pictures, so it wasn't up to Ditte to get them on board with the ideas she had for dress locations, lighting and yes... weather.

The first shot was taken with very natural make-up.. I loved the look Charlene went for with this one. The dress was a soft silk satin dress with a deep and full cowl neck front and back and an embellished belt. The flowers were displayed in an amazing big ball of white rose heads held together with ribbon, it was so beautiful it looked just like a big powder ball. According to Planet Flowers this is called a  "Pomander".

The second shot focused on autumnal colours, the dress was a silk organza balerina skirt with a corded lace bodice. Bambi's make-up was with stronger colours and the bouquet was a lovely mix of burnt orange coloured cala lillies and other autumn flowers displayed in a tear drop shape.

The third dress was made from a beautiful lace which had big 3D petals on the bodice, and a full silk taffeta skirt with a train. Bambi's make-up was still very strong and her hair was styled into a lovely array of messy curls held together with a headband from Rene Walrus. We had a stunning round ball of pink rose heads for this shot.

We had such a lovely day.. we all worked super hard.. we worked even harder than usual that day, but it all came together and we all worked towards a common goal.

For all of us its a lot of time, money and work to take days off just to play... but it was well worth it.... have a look at some of the stunning pictures taken by Ditte at Firstlight Weddings.

Louise's one shouldered dress was made from a beautiful Polysatin in an asymmetric style with a long train for her grand entrance! She had an internal lace up inside the dress which gave her all the support she needed whilst being hidden by a concealed zip on the outside.
Her ivory and black flowers from Lilypad complimented her dress amazingly. I loved how she then carried this colour scheme through to the Groom, matching it with his charcoal jacket which completed her black and white rock and roll theme for the day!

Louise had lots of fun working with her photographer Christopher Currie Wedding Photography and they captured her day perfectly.

Louise said: 'I really want you to know how truly amazing the dress was and how amazing it made me feel in it, I couldn't have imagined it being so beautiful and you some how did it exactly how I had dreamed it to be! Not only that but it was so lovely to work with you to get the dress made, you were simply wonderful and such a lovely person it made the build up even more special to have you so excited for me! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, you made my day!'

On her special day, Caroline wanted to wear a sentimental blue jewel encrusted necklace and so was keen for her wedding attire to incorporate the colour of this special necklace in some way. She therefore opted for a beautiful design made from silk duchess satin in ivory and comprised of separates; an elegant bandeau top with an internal corset held together by button and loop fastenings and a long flowing skirt with a delicate train. In order to incorporate the element of blue, she then handbeaded the upper section of the top by herself with an array of cream Swarovski pearls of varying sizes and with intermittent clear and blue Swarovski crystals, sourced via Rene Walrus. This slow and intricate process took Caroline such a long time to complete but with a lot of drive and determination and a little help from Rene Walrus she managed to see it through to the end! The final result was outstanding, with Caroline looking fantastic on her big day! The two-piece design is rarely opted for these days but it really is such a classic look with wonderful results and is a great option for adding that little something different! Caroline has just sent us some of the photographs taken of the happy couple on their wedding day by Absolutely Fabulous and we couldn't wait to share them with you all!

Elizabeth and Bruce got married at Dundas Castle on the 1st April 2012. Liz gave us a bit of a surprise when she came to see us to have her dress made. She was pregnant, and would be 22 weeks gone by the time of the wedding. We were very excited for the challenge of her dress and Liz had lots of initial ideas which made the design stage much easier.
At first, I thought a lot about how Liz's bodyshape would change quite quickly over the months leading to the wedding and how this would affect the fit of the dress.I decided the best idea would be to start making her dress 5 weeks before the wedding date leaving it as late as we possibly could but it turned out that I had nothing to worry about as Liz was training hard with her personal trainer Sally Scott at Virgin Active and the results were incredible!
Liz looked gorgeous in her beaded empire line dress which was made from a slinky silk satin with a deep v at the front and buttons down the back. The bodice was pleated which flattered her shape perfectly (not that she needed it!). Liz teamed her dress with a simple hairpiece which gave her a very elegant look.Liz's hair was styled by Princess Cut Bridal Hair. She carried a dusky pink colour scheme through from her beautiful bridesmaids to her fabulous flowers by Planet Flowers.









Liz's perfect day was captured by photographer Cate Gillon and as you can see, no baby bump in sight! Big thank you to Cate and Liz for letting us feature this stunning wedding.

And she already knew the silhouette she wanted. Francesca had decided for a ballerina length dress with a nipped in waist. and straps. We thought it would be nice to work with different textures in some quite exclusive fabrics to create a very simple, stylish and elegant look that would suit both Francesca and feel of the venue.
We ended up with this result, and i think it works brilliantly. Francesca had a douppion silk skirt with silk organza overlay. The skirt had netting under which had the edges bound in the same silk as the skirt was made of. the bodice was fully boned and lined Douppion silk, with a beaded Ivory lace overlay. The waist was accentuated by a bias cut crepe back satin belt and the same silk was used for ruched bias cut straps.
Francesca had chosen Jonathon Fowler as her photographer. We love the look he has given to her day. Beautiful!!.. i bet you had a few tooting horns on Queens Street.









More Info...]]> Sun, 2 Oct 2011 03:59:00 GMT <![CDATA[Freja Blog - Turquoise.... bringer of good fortune!]]> When my good friend Jo's then boyfriend proposed to her... I was so happy for her... and even more excitement, when she asked me to make her dress.  Jo was certain, she wanted a colour, she went for turquoise, as John John always loved her in that colour. I had a formal appointment with Jo: it was really difficult as we usually just giggle and make no sense at all. But I needed to know all about what she wanted from her dress. I love making coloured wedding dresses, but I think they must be very distinctive, and must have something exclusive about them, so that you know this lady is the bride.
Jo had a couple of things she told me: how she liked her body, and the types of clothes he always said she looked nice in.

Jo had a trip to London planned, and she arranged an appointment with this very brilliant fabric shop in London I use a lot, called Joel & Son Fabrics. She came back with some lovely samples, from which i made a design brief.

Jo's dress was then made in calico, so we could see the neckline etc. and then we made it in the silk fabric.

Jo went for a pure silk georgette, and a silk satin for the straps, sashes and belt. The georgette had tiny pintuck detail on the front, and a little keyhole, to create detail on the bust area.

I think Jo looked lovely.  She achieve a contemprary bride look. She got a stunning head dress from Rene Walrus and to top it all off Ditte from Firstlight Weddings took the photographs.







We love the result... what do you think?

Usually the bride will have chosen her dress, and often her bridesmaids colour too, so it is important to get it all to work together. They then took to the beach, got the photographs taken (wow it looks like abroad) and then to the Apex on the Grassmarket for the reception and lovely views.
The stunning pictures are taken by Idil Sukan of Draw HQ. Thank you so so much for letting us use them to share. Idil is one of Andy and Laura's friends from Edinburgh University. Her photography is usually promotional work for the entertainment industry but she also shoots events and weddings. Andy is an actor and comedian and he and his friends often use Idil's amazing photos to promote their work. He's one of the team that make up Showstopper! The Improvised Musical which will be on at the Gilded Balloon during the Edinburgh Fringe this year.

Laura, her mum and her bridesmaids helped with the flowers on the day. And they look amazing.

I think it would have been very special for Andy and Laura's guests to come from London and get such a true Edinburgh experience to be by the seaside and then in minutes in the stunning old town in a modern building with a view to The Edinburgh Castle.

It's a great source of ideas and great to keep up to date at all times. The Soiree was to be a big get-together of all wedding suppliers in the UK. We are a quite close knit group, we are all active users on Facebook and Twitter. I feel so very very lucky to have such supporting and talented colleagues.

The event was amazing. The amount of organisation which must have gone into every detail of the decoration of the place, the entertainment, burlesque dancers and the musicians, the costumes, everything was out of this world.

The dress code for the Soiree was "Very Vintage and Very Glam" none of us would be one to miss an opportunity like this. With lots of help from my fabulous staff, I made my own dress in silk chiffon, its a double circle skirt, and silk satin as the lining. The bodice is covered in Chantilly lace which i dyed, a mix of French Rose and Reindeer Beige (that doesn't really sound that glamorous, but it was.. see for yourselves!). It was laced up at the back and had a ruched halterneck. All us girls went for a "period" make-over, and it was much fun

It seemed a brilliant idea, that she together with her husband Danny Gilbert was to set up her company called Re:make. re:makescotland Re:make is a social enterprise. The main aim to educate people to get new skills and to learn to make new beautiful things out of old stuff, scraps or unwanted things.

Remake's summer workshop programme was amazing lot of workshops to teach children and adults different skills and to experience the satisfaction of creating something from the idea to finish, from scraps or unwanted things.

My educational background is from the Danish Free school system. Schools, which are curriculum and exam free. My personal opinion is that only by moving away from curriculum and let children (and adults) have access to tools and materials, only then can they move on to develop creative skills and invent things. The way the world is today, this is the most important skill anyone could achieve.

Well with all this background i was very proud when Fiona asked me if I wanted to come and teach at a workshop at Comrie Croft in the summer workshop programme.

I chose the subject "Boutique Broaches" and i could not believe how talented my pupils were, they all made at least 2 broaches and they were all gorgeous and perfectly wearable.

I want to share a feel of the day with you with these photographs. For me, it was a very different day, and very rewarding to work with such lovely ladies.

First the wedding itself was to be at Fettes College where she works. We had a great laugh. To get the length of the train right for when Charlotte was standing at the alter, she went to the chapel and held a piece of string behind her down the steps from the alter. The lenght of string was compared to the train as we developed the style.
Charlotte was also so lucky that she had the opportunity to wear a 1920es French Tiara, which was family owned.
Charlotte was very involved in organising her wedding, and had great help from her mother. Along with that, and her teaching and playing the Cello, it has been a very busy year for her.
We so enjoyed working with Charlotte and the rest of her bridal party, that i was so pleased to be asked to come to the The Balmoral, and help Charlotte, her bridesmaids and her mother into their dresses. It was so lovely and I felt totally part of the family to be there on the day, and I do hope I was being a tiny bit helpful too.
We had a whole list of amazing wedding suppliers involved in this wedding, and it was a joy to work with them all. The Bride was staying at The Balmoral, the cars were
from William Sleigh, Maxwell did all the flowers for the ceremony and for the reception at The Signet Library, he especially sourced the beautiful Lily of the Valley.
Liggy's Cakes supplied a lovely autumn style cake, and a cup-cake making class for a girls treat. LG Makeup, made everybody up very nicely, and all the hairstyles were done by Charlie Miller.
With the Fabulous Firstlight Wedding Photography  Photographing Charlotte and Allan's wedding, there is far too much gorgeousness to show in just one blog, from stunning venues, attention to detail and lovely portraits, so another blog with the bridesmaids and Mother of Bride will follow one of the next days.
Charlotte's dress was made in a Emperor Thai silk, silk Satin "lip" and silk satin bolero jacket. Charlotte had hand beading of aurora borealis Swarowski Crystals, and
pearl. She had a little bolero jacket in silk duchesse satin, With the dress Charlotte wore a 2 tier fine silk veil.
After the ceremony the jacket came off and then the veil came off after the Dinner. The dress bustled up for the dancing by The Ceilidh Experience.

Charlotte said this after the wedding:

"Mette is simply fabulous! I went to her with ideas for my wedding dress but absolutely no artistic skills to draw any of them. She was instantly able to draw up each of my ideas, not only creating the perfect outfit for me but also for my bridesmaids and mother: all of us felt a million dollars on the day and there were compliments from everyone about our dresses! Every visit to her was relaxed and full of giggles and having her with us on the morning of the wedding was truly special. Mette sparkles with enthusiasm and talent and has a real gift with people too: a thousand thank yous Mette!"

Danni chose black cationic Chiffon and a soft satin belt for her bridesmaids. The dresses had a deep V-neck, and were soft without boing or structure.
Danni had 4 gorgeous bridesmaids, and the style colour suited them all. They were really lovly girls to work with and we enjoyed the banter during the fittings. Their hair and make up and the day was done by Monica & Sharon at Made-up.
The soft white flowers softened the whole look and it all looked stunning in the lovely setting of The George Hotel Edinburgh and the whole wedding and the lovely details were captured perfectly by Robin Frowley Photography, We would like to wish Dannie and Scott all the best.

I will not forget that sight in a hurry.

It was a joy to work with new faces, and if it wasn't because i have so many dresses to finish on a daily basis this kind of stuff would be all i would be doing.

I enjoyed going through the process with her, as she had so many ideas to contribute and as a Teacher always had done all her home work and research in advance of our meetings.
She went for very fitted boned corset and circle skirt in Silk Taffeta with soft draping of a silk Chiffon Satin over. All materials was from James Hare Silks. The colour was pale ivory.
Sarah had lovely ideas of flowers, in very soft colours, ivory and pinks, and bridesmaids i a soft blue colour. It seemed to all blend in to the beautifull sandstone of the Chapel and the stunning neutrals of the Devonshire gardens. I think it really suits the light we have here in the summers.
Sarah brought her mum to the wedding dress fittings, and i was so honoured they both came such a long distance for Sarah's dress.












Life in Frame did the phototography, I so enoyed how they have played with the light round the pillars at the chapel. Thank you so much to them for letting me show you the photographs of Sarah's dress.

The wedding turned out just like she wanted it, a spring wedding in the city.

More Info...]]> Fri, 1 Jul 2011 12:02:00 GMT <![CDATA[Freja Blog - Lynne's 3 lush Bridesmaids]]> We came up with some ideas, and Lynne settled for the chiffon Changeant material in this gorgeous shade. Changeant means that it has been wowen with 2 different colours of thread one colour for warp and one for weft. this gives it a much more lively look, and in particular the sheer materials becomes much more vibrant in this way. We had even more benefit of the changeant material as the dresses were cut with some parts on the bias and some on the straight fabric.

All 3 dresses had a boned bodice with ruching on top, and then a double circle skirt for each one. That means, if you lift up the hem above your head, you have a full circle of skirt in front of you, and a full circle behind you... this is what makes these dresses seem so lush... lots of luxurious material. They looked fab and were accessorised with fab shoes, very city chique look.

The 3 bodices were:

Strapless, halterneck, and one shoulder dress.

Esther wanted a relaxed wedding day, with lots of fun with friends and family, she wanted it to be outdoors and spend time in the area around, Joe is a very good Fell runner and they both really enjoy the outdoors.

The wedding preperations were great, Esthers Folks stay in the area and had asked all their friends in the area to supply summer flowers from their gardens for the decorations. Everything was keept with a rustic country feel with event he cakestand being a bit of sliced tree trunk! LOVE IT!
Eshers dress had to fit the relaxed day, i thought she loooked so so pretty, She went for an Empire line cut dress, with ivory lace with champagne cording on the lace. The dress was a slinky silk satin with a silk chiffon overlay, and internal lace up. and buttons and loops. The sash was made of the slinky silk satin. Esther has been so lovely to work with and here is what she wrote to me after and said: "My dress was perfect"

The photographs are from Dave Muirhead @muirheadphotography he must have had such fun going off in the woods, mud and filds to capture the best shots, and it really shows. The photographs are great, and i am so pleased to be able to show them.

Debbie contacted us last winter and we had a wee chat about her dress. Debbie was great she had firm ideas about what she wanted. she wanted no train, and and easy to wear dress for her wedding day. Her and David, had decided they were going to get married on her Auntie and Uncles farm and wanted to keep the summery rustic feel to her day.
The result was beautifull, she had her dress made made in a matte pure silk duchesse satin, it has an overlay of a lovely really fine lace with a floral pattern. The dress was fully lined with the lining handstiched down to enclose all seams. The dress was constructed so it had boning and an internal lace up, and a concealed zip over.
The bolero was seperate, but completed the dress beautifully.
It was a joy to work with Debbie, and we think that the way that Mirrorbox Photographyhave captured their wedding is just stunning.
