Pink Wedding Dress for Florence

Pink Wedding Dress

Pink, Weddings and Florence, I think they are 3 of my favourite things! So an initial visit from Gillian, telling us about plans of a beautifully intimate wedding in Florence with a Pink very lightweight dress to wear in the heat, we were in heaven.

Gillian had me in stitches immediately, her boss had sent her to see me. Gillian and Steve had the whole wedding planned apart from the dress. Gillian’s colleagues had had enough of listening to her about this missing dress. We were so happy to offer our help to Gillian. We really enjoyed spending time with her at the fittings making her bespoke wedding dress.

She decided for a beautiful soft light silk satin chiffon half circle skirt with a high low hemline. She went for a ruched bodice with sweetheart neckline on the front and dipped ruched neckline on the back.

Sparkling accessories

The dress was embellished with silver crystals and we made straps in with silver crystals and pearl beading. We love making wedding dresses for destination weddings. We have to consider temperature and use lighter fabrics and make it work with the destination.

Gillian picked a stunning headpiece from Rene Walrus, we stock the entire metal collection and Gillian picked the beautiful Dandelion comb.

Gillian also chose a pair of Jimmi Choo’s and they were just beautiful, the shimmer went so well with the dress.

I couldn’t believe the photographs of the venue Gillian and Steve had sourced. A Town Hall made for an intimate ceremony. Then a lovely dinner in a little restaurant on the outskirts of Florance. Because the restaurant was placed high up the guests were treated to stunning views over Florence’s red rooftops and the unmistakable Dome in the middle.

Gillian and Steve hired Lovely Tuscany Wedding Planner in Florence who did an amazing job. She up them in touch with Gina Vratemzo Photography, who took these amazing images and kindly let us share them.
