Short silk wedding dress with vintage lace bolero

Clementine had already her heart set on a short dress when she came to see me. She also had some pretty spectacular Jimmy Choo’s from Pam Jenkins for us to work into her wedding outfit.

She also had a piece of lovely Chantilly lace which had served as the wedding dress lace for her late auntie.

We designed Clementine a short dress in silk douppion, it had a dropped waist boned bodice with internal
lace up and ruching to the one side and sweetheart neckline. The dress had a pleated skirt in the douppion silk.

We made a little bolero with Clementines lace. The lace was beautiful and very fine. We got a guipore lace trimming to finish the edges on it. and then there was a douppion silk band which finished a big bow at the
back of her dress.
