Mini Sewing Essentials Course
Welcome to our 3-Day Challenge! We are so happy you are interested.
We already have our sewing course but realised that some people had no clue where to start. This is a deep dive into sewing essentials for beginners who are keen to learn and expand their skills.
Day 1 (5th February 2024) – You will explore all the tools necessary to start your sewing journey, and how to use them. You will learn about which fabrics to start with in order to start constructing garments.
Day 2 (6th February 2024) – You will be shown how to take exact measurements and apply them to patterns in order to get your perfect fit. You will be introduced to personal styling and shown how to dress for your body type.
Day 3 (7th February 2024) – You will be shown how to use a sewing machine, and get the most out of it. There will be an opportunity for a Q+A at the end.
Each day will be via a Zoom call at 7pm (BST) and you will be sent the meeting link to join! If you miss out, the meetings will be recorded to you can watch them at a later date in your Members Area.

About Mette Baillie
Mette Baillie is a couture designer from Denmark. She set up Freja Designer Dressmaking in the Centre of Edinburgh in 1999. She has made wedding dresses and event wear and couture dresses ever since and won multiple awards. She has helped thousands of women gain confidence and style through designing them beautiful clothes to make them look and feel amazing. She is now ready to share her knowledge in an online dressmaking course.
