Lovely telephone conversations with Ashleigh’s mum went before our first meeting. So when i first met Ashleigh, i had a bit of an idea what sort of dress she was looking for.
I couldn’t have been happier, when i met her, as she was so beautiful and the colours she wanted her wedding dress in just suited her so well, we took good care of choosing the right shad of pink and ivory to go with it.
the dress was a circle cut silk chiffon wedding dress, with 2 layers skirt in different colours which made such a beautiful soft peachy-pink-ivory shade. Ashley had a Chantilly lace bolero and a belt with a bow at the back and a soft rose to tie the colours together.
The wedding was held at the impressive The Roxburghe Hotel, in Kelso, and Gwen Henderson-Gates from Gweny’s Cupcakes and the flowers was arranged by The Flower Room, Kelso. Ashleigh and her mum did a lot of lovely DIY in advance of the wedding.
