Chantilly lace dress for a stunning church wedding
Lynsey’s wedding took place in Colinton Church, with the reception afterwards at Mansfield Traquair. Her dress was made of beautiful Chantilly lace.
Lynsey’s dress had a lovely classic look, because of the Chantilly lace. We also made her bridesmaids’ dresses and her mother’s outfit for the wedding. She had her bridesmaids to match her in pale pink silk crepe with matching lace edges, with different necklines. We made her mum a blue and pearly grey outfit, and she had a headdress to match made by the wonderful Bridget Webster.
Lynsey did her own makeup which was stunning, and her hair was done by Gwen Avinou at Mckenzie Hair Design. Their florist was Rachael Scott from Hedgerow Florist, based in Portobello.
It was great fun working with Lynsey to create her dress and she looked beautiful on her wedding day.
