Fuschia, Pink, White Wedding Dress
Kacii wanted a dress with pinks and whites, sparkles and bows. We delivered!
Making a dress like this is a bit of a challenge. It started off as a fishtail dress silhouette, made from a boned and structured polyester Duchesse satin dress. Once we had the shape perfected we started adding all the tulle pieces. I have no idea how many pieces we made but in the region of 30 meters of 1.5-meter wide tulle in the 3 colours Fuschia, pink and white, cut into pieces was added to the skirt in the 3 colours. The bodice had a very heavily embellished lace overlay with crystals and pearls.
The bride also wanted a big bow, on the dress, we made in in the Duchesse satin we made all the edges in. We embellished the bow with motifs of the lace.
Kacii had the wedding at Mansfield Traquair, it’s one of our favourite venues. We have previously had some beautiful weddings there and also a photoshoot. We are very proud to say we are on the preferred supplier list of Mansfield Traquair.
Kacii had amazing ideas as she is very confident doing her own hair in all colours and she wanted her own cool style to reflect the wedding.
