Waxed Cotton Cape
This Cape is produced from dry feel waxed cotton produced in Dundee. It’s essentially a waist coat with a cape attached on the collar, it has matching buttons and is lined. The cape has no pocket as standard, but can be added for £30.
What better to wear in the rain than waxed cotton cape also called Oilskin Cape? It is the perfect garment to cover your up for a showery day.
This waxed cotton cape works well to wear over a blouse or jumper, but its great to get a size bigger if you need a cover-up for when you are wearing your work suits.
Furthermore, this waxed cotton is wonderful. Pure cotton, woven and treated in Dundee by the traditional company established in 1864. Halley Stevenson’s cloth and productions are still the leading in the world… how amazing to have this on your doorstep?
I have been thrilled to work in it. and here is the sample.
Its a fitted bodice, think gilet or body warmer, made in the oilskin and then with the cape piece sitting over, and a nice collar. This way you have room for your suit jacket sleeves if you wish.
The cape is lined with antistatic lining, the colour of your choice and it has matching buttons.
