Vintage Feel Chantilly Dress

A Vintage Feel Chantilly Lace Dress for a Wedding at Newhall Estate

This wedding was one I really wanted to be part of from the word go.

Kirsty came with the ideas of a beautiful wedding dress that had lace details and a bit of a vintage feel to it.

She chose a beautiful Chantilly lace which contrasted so well with the structure and texture of the skirt made of Zibeline. On the back of the dress, we then added belt bow and sashes in the same skirt fabric. We also added cover button detailing above the bow. The bodice was structed and boned and this absolutely was part of the vintage feel of this wedding dress.

Kirsty accessorised the dress a beautiful bracelet hand made by her mum. She also paired the dress with amazing pink shoes, same shade of pink for her hair and bright dots of pink in her flowers too. Her hair and makeup was by Belle Bridal and the beautiful bouquet are from Blossom Floral Events.

The groom is Australian and Kirsty is a local girl. The grooms suit is by Andrew Brookes. Their amazing choice of wedding venue was the Newhall Estate. This is very favourite place of mine. The very generous owners have previously allowed us to spend time in their very beautiful walled garden for a summer photoshoot.  You can see some of the pictures here.

What a treat for all their guests attending the wedding from Australia and many other places to come to this wonderful venue and be part of this happy event

Outfit for the Mother of the Bride

Kirsty came to see me with her mum and then her mum asked me to make her outfit too. I was over the moon when she went for a jumpsuit. We sourced a beautiful soft blue wool crepe for the jumpsuit. Then a Chantilly lace in the soft blue with silver. This stunning lace became a long-sleeved jacket with buttons down the back to wear over the jumpsuit.

We were so delighted that it was Stephanie from SGMark Photography who was asked to be there on the day and photograph the event. We love the style of photography, and the bride and groom (and mum) just look incredible.
