Waterfall Wedding Dress

Waterfall Wedding Dress, in the making.

Carol sharing what great times she and her husband-to-be had enjoyed in Norway. The engagement even happened at Kjossfossen Waterfall. They share a love of the Fjords and the water in all its aspects.

Carol wanted me to incorporate this in her bespoke Waterfall Wedding dress. This is exciting! Choosing the soft pale blue-green silk became the base of the dress. Then sequined and silk embroidered tulle overlay was picked for the overlay of the bodice. Then fine pure silk chiffon with cascades overlaying the skirt. And a deep deep fake cowl neck at the back in pure silk chiffon. Carol had lovely intricate crystal motifs on the shoulders and on the empire line belt.

Along with the lovely aqua colour and the ivory, a palette with teal and coral shades were completing the lovely wedding colours.

On the day they were out on the amazing rooftop space at The Glasshouse Hotel. The perfect setting for a waterfall dress and soft summer palette of colours.

With lots of lovely suppliers involved in this wedding, it could only be a feast for the eyes. Karen Bowen is a great makeup artist, we have been working with often on exciting projects. Karen creates beautiful makeup and matched the coral theme.

Janice Dawson in charge of the amazing hairdo.

Stems is the florist supplying lovely decorations matching Carol’s brief and colour scheme.

Rainbow Sugarcraft made the cake, it made me smile with more Norwegian waterfalls.

Roslyn Gaunt Photography was on hand and creates beautiful images from the day.

The Waterfall Wedding Dress Was perfect! I enclose a picture of our initial idea of the dress draped up on the dummy at our first meeting.
