Wedding dress for Wedding at Newhall Estate

When Charlotte asked us to make her wedding dress, it was equally scary and exciting. We had recently made wedding dresses to 2 of her best friends, and the pressure was on. We wanted to make something for her, which was equally amazing and very different from the 2 girlfriends dresses.

More pressure was applied as Jak, Charlotte’s fiance is a wedding professional and with his family runs the Newhall Estate. We love that place! We feel honored for invitations in the past to do a photoshoot in the lovely grounds.

That Dress!

Charlotte went for a bespoke wedding dress with a big circle skirt in pure silk organza. She chose a beautiful embroidered tulle with sequins for her long sleeves. Lastly, we finished the top with edgings with pearls and crystals.

Charlotte also had a beaded belt she could wear with or without the lace top. That way she could dance the night away in her strapless dress, with her elaborate belt.

Mother of the bride

She kindly asked us to make her a dress too. A lovely royal wool crepe was ordered a stylish dress was created with wide belt detail. She teamed it up with her own velvet coat and hat. Which made it for a lovely wintry outfit.

Everyone had the best day with the ceremony in the atmospheric Rosslyn Chapel, and then the reception at Newhall estate
