Cambo Estate wedding

Cambo Estate wedding was booked for a while for this wedding. This is another wedding postponed due to covid. But totally worth the wait.

I am not lying when I say I have been pretty excited about this one. For a few reasons. The gorgeous bride and groom are like me very fond of the outdoors and active lifestyles. Obviously, this wedding had to reflect that. So right from the start, I knew Julia would not want a dress with a big train or corsetry or anything else which would restrict her movement.  So we made her this gorgeous embroidered tulle skirt. The skirt embroidery is out of this world with 3D flowers and metallic thread.  Julia then chose a satin halter neck top to wear with the skirt. So it is a 2 piece even though you would not think it was.

Julia chose a headdress from Rene Walrus, which we stock in the shop. To avoid being in busy salons before the wedding Julia decided to do a makeup tutorial and then her own makeup on the day. I think she did really well from her instructions from Colette Casher Make-up.

On top of all the excitement of the dress, it turned out our co-workers Fern Photography was booked to be there for the full day doing all the pictures.

Cool start to the day

In true style, the bride and groom kicked the wedding off with a sea swim, (we are talking October in the North Sea here guys) and fair dues to they all got in the sea too. Daniel from Fern actually got in the sea with his camera! wow!

The wedding was amazing in the Cambo Estate. The couple had friends and family around them. Finishing the day with a Ceilidh.

All the flowers from the wedding were from the great charity run Cambo Garden Flowers  . Our friends at Wild Rover Food made and served all the delicious food on the day.

I feel it’s my most important job to get the dress, style of wedding and the bride’s shape and personality to work together, and I feel in this case it has just all come together perfectly.
