Anna and Jackie became Mrs & Mrs at The Treehouse at Loch Goil in August, what a dream like venue on a beautiful summers day. We absolutely loved the brief for Anna and Jackie’s wedding. They wanted a fun informal “weather permitting” outdoors wedding at this beautiful wedding venue in the summer in Scotland. Anna was set on a short lace wedding dress. Winter Princes bride Francesca, planned her wedding for a long time and Covid intervened with all her amazing plans. Such an exciting wedding dress to make, as Nuam is from Myanmar and wanted to incorporate the traditional elements of the national costume the “longyi” but also have a traditional “western” wedding outfit. I absolutely love the final look of it. She suits it so well. So we made the “longyi” skirt which is like a wrap-around skirt. We made it in the heavy Mikado fabric. That gorgeous crepe wedding dress Hilary was the loveliest bride to deal with. She came to me with a rough sketch of the wedding dress she had made herself. She had not tried any dresses on and didn’t really fancy going through all that. We went through a lot of details about the design, the fastening and the cut and the details. Sequins and stunning lace and beautiful headdress… so proud, I felt it all came together perfectly. Scottish Norwegian alliance This beautiful wedding was a long time coming. Fiona and Mharit asked us to make Mharits wedding dress, this made my day. This in fact goes a long way back, in fact, January 2019. Planning a wedding is hard. Add into that, 2 countries. Then add covid.   Jumpsuits for weddings, I think my new favourite thing. I think Rachel wore it better than anyone. I was over the moon when Rachel contacted me about her picking a jumpsuit for her Scottish Highland wedding. She had fixed ideas on style and together we chose the fabrics to achieve the soft heavy drape of the palazzo pant style trouser part and smooth dull satin for the bodice. Short Champagne wedding dress for an intimate wedding at the Carberry Tower.  This is such a gorgeous wedding which finally got to go ahead after the covid restrictions. Alison had lovely ideas for her dress. We discussed the ideas and looked at materials, she went for a champagne pink satin dress with a sweetheart neckline. She had a chantilly lace overlay on the bodice. The bodice had a wide neckline and a beaded lace trim on the hem. She had little cap sleeves with a scalloped hem.  All fully bespoke for her.
