Vintage Feel Chantilly Dress

A Vintage Feel Chantilly Lace Dress for a Wedding at Newhall Estate This wedding was one I really wanted to be part of from the word go. Kirsty came with the ideas of a beautiful wedding dress that had lace details and a bit of a vintage feel to it. She chose a beautiful Chantilly lace which contrasted so well with the structure and texture of the skirt made of Zibeline. On the back of the dress, we then added belt bow and sashes in the same skirt fabric. We also added cover button detailing above the bow. The bodice…

Timeless Wedding Dress

the bride in her timeless wedding dress with the V-neck detail and pleated skirt

We were so delighted to be asked to be involved in this wedding. It’s a lovely family we have worked with a lot. It feels such an honour to be asked to create such important garments for a big family wedding. For this special day, we not only had the chance to make the bride’s dream wedding dress but also a piece for her mum and dresses for her bridesmaids. This wedding sadly had been swapped and changed many times due to covid. But it was all worth the hassle when it finally took place.    The Timeless Wedding Dress For…

Wedding at Edinburgh Castle

wedding photograph at Edinburgh castle

So wonderful to work with this bride for a wedding at Edinburgh Castle. Beautiful ideas for her Scottish wedding in Edinburgh. The wedding was planned for March. This essentially can be a pretty harsh month for any one of her guests visiting from Australia.  However everyone was still very keen to come and be part of this amazing day. The Dress We made this beautiful wedding dress for Josephine. The material is a georgette. This is semi-sheer and has a matte texture. We backed it with a lovely satin to make it opaque. The dress has big yet soft flowing sleeves…

Emerald Green Wedding Dress

Green silk wedding dress for a wedding in the Highlands

A Beautiful Emerald Green Wedding Dress made for a wedding set in the Scottish Highlands. I think this is one of the BEST briefs I have ever had for a wedding dress. This wedding took place in the beautiful Scottish Highlands which is known for its beautiful scenery. Emily came in with a list of ideas and a plan of having a private wedding in the hills with a celebrant, the other half, obviously! and then celebrant, nature and bikes! The couple were to cycle up the hills to the spot to get married, I loved that! They had focused…

Silk dress for New Zealand

silk dress with long detachable train

Silk dress for New Zealand It was such a joy making Aislinn’s bespoke wedding dress for her wedding in New Zealand. I have a soft spot for New Zealand and along with Aislinn just being the loveliest bride it made it one of my favourite projects ever. That dress! Aislinn had some lovely ideas when she came to us. She wanted a soft and very simple dress with a boat neckline and a low back. She wanted simple but still wanted to make some impact. Deciding for the silk crepe as her main fabric was perfect. It is so soft…

We have made different designs and worked in every colour you can imagine. We want to show you some of the lovely dresses we worked on this year. Gold is always a popular colour. It’s classic, without season and timeless. Here is a lovely one we did, photographed by Craig & Eva Saunders. If you want to hear more about your services for…

Castle winter wedding

bride and groom in the scottish hills

Castle winter wedding for Max and Calum We are over the moon to be part of this wedding. We made Max’s wedding dress for this magnificent event at Drumtochty Castle. I am a friend of Calum’s mum and I am so happy to make this wedding dress for Max. Despite many geographical obstacles, it all worked out. Max’s family are all in different States in the US. It was great fun having them online at the fittings and giving their comments on the dress and how it was shaping up. Beautiful wedding dress We made Max a bespoke wedding dress….

Crepe wedding dress with drapes

crepe wedding dress with drapes

It was such a joy working with Grazyna, making her crepe wedding dress with drapes. She had lovely sophisticated and very simple ideas for her wedding dress. We made Grazyna a bespoke slim-cut crepe dress cut with a princess line over the bust. The dress had a deep neckband also made in crepe. She had sheer silk chiffon drapes over her low back.   We made buttons and loops of the dress fabric. Over 100 buttons we attached to the hem. The bride has lived worldwide, and her friends and family came from all over the globe to the wedding. Sadly…
